Refund & Returns Policy

We believe shopping with UCOCEKO should be straightforward, transparent and supported. Here is how we assist customers in South Africa.

1. How to request a return

Contact info@ucocekolifestyle.co.za with your order number, the affected products, a brief description of the issue and photographs where helpful. We will explain next steps, including how to return or present an item for assessment.

2. Defective or unsafe products

Under section 56 of the South African Consumer Protection Act, where applicable, a consumer may return goods that fail statutory quality standards within six months after delivery, without penalty and at the supplier's risk and expense. The consumer may elect repair, replacement or refund, subject to applicable law. Do not continue using a product you believe is unsafe.

3. Wrong items or damage in transit

If you receive a different item from the one ordered, or notice transit damage, contact us promptly and retain the packaging and order details where possible. We will assess the matter and arrange a remedy consistent with your statutory rights.

4. Change-of-mind returns

For products that are not defective, return eligibility depends on the circumstances, any published voluntary returns arrangement and applicable statutory rights. We do not represent that every change-of-mind purchase can be returned after use. Qualifying electronic transactions may have a statutory seven-day cooling-off right, subject to legal exclusions.

5. Hygiene, chemical and pet-care products

Some products require special handling because of hygiene, safety, contamination or carrier restrictions. This does not remove statutory remedies for unsafe, defective or incorrectly supplied goods. Follow the product label when storing items while a return is being resolved.

6. Refund method and processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be made using a lawful and appropriate payment method after verification of the refund entitlement. We will confirm the processing steps and any applicable timing requirements; bank or payment service processing time may vary.

7. Return shipping costs

Where the law makes UCOCEKO responsible for collecting qualifying defective goods, we will arrange the appropriate process at our expense. For discretionary or statutory cooling-off returns, direct return costs may differ as permitted by law; we will communicate them before return where applicable.

8. Disputes and assistance

If you disagree with a decision, reply to your support correspondence with the order reference and details. You retain any applicable right to approach South African consumer-protection bodies or other lawful dispute-resolution channels.

These policies are subject to applicable South African consumer rights. Where a law grants greater protection, the law prevails.
