We believe shopping with UCOCEKO should be straightforward, transparent and supported. Here is how we assist customers in South Africa.
1. Requesting a cancellation
Email info@ucocekolifestyle.co.za with your order reference, full name and the items you wish to cancel. Please make the request as soon as possible. We will acknowledge the request and check the current order and fulfilment status.
2. Before dispatch
If an order has not been dispatched, our team will review whether it can be stopped. Where payment has been received and cancellation is accepted, we will explain the refund method and next steps. Any applicable statutory cancellation rights take precedence over our standard process.
3. After dispatch
If a parcel has entered the delivery network, it may be necessary to arrange a return rather than stop dispatch. Contact us before returning goods so we can explain the correct procedure and any legally permissible costs.
4. Electronic transactions and cooling-off
Qualifying electronic transactions may be cancelled within seven days after receipt of the goods under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, subject to statutory exclusions. Where that right applies, the supplier must refund payments within the time required by law; the consumer may be responsible for direct return costs. Some goods and transactions are excluded under section 42.
5. Collection bookings
For orders with collection, contact us to change a requested appointment. A booking request does not guarantee a collection slot; visit only after your order is confirmed ready for collection.
6. Out-of-stock or unfulfilled orders
If we cannot supply an item or fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you with available lawful options such as an alternative, revised fulfilment arrangements or a refund.
7. Cancellation confirmation
We will send confirmation of the outcome and, if applicable, the refund arrangement to the email associated with your order. Payment-provider and bank processing times may affect when funds appear.
8. Your rights
Nothing on this page limits rights granted by the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African legislation.
These policies are subject to applicable South African consumer rights. Where a law grants greater protection, the law prevails.
